Well...here it goes. I had a loan with CashCall. It defaulted and I JUST couldn't make payments on the loan. I started looking onto different Consolidation sites, and came across DebtCC. I statred reading the forums.and realized that I 'wasn't alone', in all of this!! Well.......I REALLY just wanted to 'ignore' this debt, knowing that Cash Call was VERY difficult to deal with. I had NO idea what to do. A few people, on this forum, replied to my posts, about Cash Call. Saying things like, 'You can't ignore your debt, face it head on. We are all here to help you through this'. After calling Cash Call, several times, in the past, I decided to give it 'one more try'. You'll never guess what I was told!! cash Call has 'sold' ALOT of their accounts to different collection agencies ( mine, included!). I thought this would be better than dealing with Cash Call. I called the Collection Agency and I couldn't believe my ears............they were SO great!! Willing to work with me, with AFFORDABLE monthly payments. I'm going to pay off, ONLY the amount I barrowed and not one cent more!! I guess, my point is..things will 'come together', if you're willing to help yourself. Thanks..DebtCC!!!!

This is great news for you!! I am glad you found help and support here.

I'm like you, I would much rather ignore them- but have learned from experience, not only do they not go away, it only gets worse!

I have found some collectors that were willing to work with me-alot more that won't

This will be a relief when you get it paid off and can move on!! Way to go!..KAren :D

Wow...that is great news for you sdchargers!!! On 08/30 Goudah posted about how Cash Call was putting a stop to lending...I believe she noted they were still lending in Ca....Obviously due to their own cash crunch they must have decided to sell off some of their loans...I am so glad it was a company that was willing to work with you!!!

WOW! I am so happy that you got a good collection company to handle your cash call loan. Before you start paying to the CA, make sure that they have given you the documentation relating to your debt. You must be sure that you are paying to the right company that has your file. And it will be a nice thing to have something in writing that they will be updating your file with the credit bureau if they have already reported to them.

sd, congratulations on having the courage to give it "one more try"! Look what you found out! Now you're able to pay your principle amount only and with reasonable payment amounts! Good for you! And I'm glad you posted. Now others with Cash Call nightmares can attempt to see if they're accounts have been "sold" to collection agencies. If so, they might be in a better situation! Good job! :D

Congrats to sdcharger - are you not from PA, I'm from
PA and hoping then that maybe they will sell mine off and I get a company that will be willing to make more
reasonable arrangements.
how long have you had the cashcall loan and how many months behind.
I only had my cashcall since Feb. 07 - but is getting very difficult to handle.
