Cash Call seems impossible!!!

I have sent letters to Cash Call and the AG in SD and CA. SD sent me a response that Western Sky had 20 days to respond. California gave me a different address and number to better assist me. I have resent letters to Elissa Chavez (may not be spelling it right since I don't have my notes in front of me) and Cash Call almost daily and I have received only two responses. Both saying my balance and that if i'm unhappy with the terms to pay it off. I borrowed 2600 and paid over 5000. I tried asking for a refund. I even said I would accept a PIF if the account was closed in good standing.

I have been very aggressive with all my letters. Today I noticed they posted to my credit report that I was 30 days late. This is really frustrating. Anything else I can do? Even Plain Green Loans who is suppose to be a tribal owned company as well was easy to work with and I borrowed 1400.00 from them. They responded quickly and settled on my principal only balance with no problems. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

Here is the plain and simple truth to dealing with Cashcall/WS. Stop paying them and wait for the debt to get transferred to Delbert which is their collection company. Delbert will eventually send you a settlement for less than what you owe. For example, if they "say you owe" $5000... usually will get a letter to settle for around $2000. I owed over $5000 supposedly, and settled for about $1900. The thing is, Cash Call IS legal despite what people on this site will try to tell you. They WILL sue you eventually if you do not pay and ignore all attempts. They may not win more than the principle amount borrowed to you, however, usually you can settle with the collection agency for even less than what you would have to pay in court.

any loan cashcall services from western sky is illegal no matter id cashcall is licensed.also that being said i want to know when has cashcall sued on a western sky loan.they haven't.another thing since any western sky loan is illegal no matter who services it only the principle is owed and the contract is non-enforceable,and the FTC is investigating both parties as we speak so their is nothing legit about this dodge and anybody collecting should be DV'D immediately.last thing alot of people have overpaid these illegal loans, and both ws.cc can go to hell.

I had some nightmares dealing with Cashcall (before they changed their name to Western Sky). They are not a PDL company, however, they DO have an illegal % rate. How I got out of their loan is because I didn't know it was illegal for them to loan money to Military personell (I serve in the Military). I let the loan go to a CA (which, of course, it's illegal for a CA to try and collect on a non-legit loan company). I did alot of research on Western Sky/Cashcall. They threaten alot and claim they will go to your homes, etc. They won't. You will never get refunded from them. Actually,..I DID found out that when Western Sky advertises, they don't mention Cash Call in their ads (tv ads, etc) and that, in itself, is illegal. Don't pay them!! If they call, don't answer the phone. There are several lawsuits concerning Western Sky/Cash Call. They actually told me, at one time, they would come and get my car for collateral for the loan. I say "come and get it." That was 6 years ago. Don't play their game. Hope this advice helps someone!!

I got a response from cash call today, in regards to my complaint with the California attorney general. Basically it states the loan was funded through western sky etc. I'm waiting for the attorney general response. I have paiud beyond the principal, and would like to know how to respond to the AG. Although I 'm at the point where I think I am spinning my wheels with no resolve. I don't want to pay them any money... although they did offer me a $700 settlement...

I wouldn't say they were impossible. I got a loan from western sky, then it was with cash call. I sent the ach revocation letter and offered to pay what i owed. I got the typical bs email back. Blah blah. I closed my bank account and never heard from them again. I never got one call or an email even after the date they were supposed to take the $ out of my account.
Kinda seems too good to be true... Right??
Maybe that'll happen for you....

I received another letter today from Cash Call offering me another deferment. I am almost three months behind. I refuse to pay another cent. They owe me money. The only good thing is that I have not received one single phone call from them.

I only have recieved the first couple letters stating "we understand you might have not understood the terms", but that's it. Today we did get a call from "John smith" who sounds like he is from India, saying I need to call him back or the comsequences are my fault. But I just delete the messages when I hear the guys' voice, cause its the same voice, but he uses different names. Maybe he has multiple personalities! John Smith, BoB Jones, Bill Brown...
