WS Funding LLC (CashCall, Western Sky)

also, did anyone get the alleged email CashCall continues to reference in their letters/emails regarding sale of loan to WS Funding LLC?

ok, here is where it gets real fishy (like it wasn't so far, lol)

I called CashCall today and asked who the current owner was. At first they said Western Sky and then I said - why are you saying WS Funding in your letters. They go on to say, oops, sorry you are correct. Then I request WS Funding's info. They say they don't have it and I have to call Western Sky and give me a number. ???

Call Western Sky and they say - don't have it. They will have to call Cashcall for it and will get back to me in 5 min. ?????????

and I got a call back from Kristen who said to call another girl Cheryl. Called her, surprise - she works for Western Sky. She asked me for my email address to send WS Funding info.

Too much.

It's almost as if the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.

Please keep us posted on how this turns out. I currently have a loan from WS that I'm contesting it's legality. :)

oh, I believe both hands know what they are doing.

I plan on using this to get cashcall off my credit reports.

• How can they report a loan for Western Sky if it no longer owns it.
  
• How can they report a loan for WS Funding if they have no idea who they are.

As the Church lady would say - how CONVENIENT...........

So I have had this very same issue recently. Today I was on the phone with cash call for "non payment" of my loan. Iexplained to them that my loan documents have nothing regarding cash call on them, so I am no longer authorizing any payment to them, until they can verify I have a signed aggreement with them. I told them I would be happy to talk directly with Western Sky or they could fax or email me a loan aggreement I have with Cash Call. The women on the phone told me " I am just making an excuss not to pay". I told her to verfiy my loan with them somehow or I could provide a document that does not have cash call on it. She told me my original loas with Western Sky says "Cash Call" on the top.

After pulling up the loan I disputed this with her over the phone and said I'd be happy to provide her with this information. She refused to give me a fax or email address and said I will continue to accrue interest at 135% and they will get their money one way or another.

So Isaid lets agree to disagree and I will contact the attorny general. Within minutes of hang up a recieve an email saying as of today my loan has been sold to WS Funding LLC and will be serviced by CASH CALL. And I have thirty days to dispute this.

This seems very odd to me. I wonder what is the next step if a dont make a payment. I am very hesistant to send any more money to CASH CALL. I feel as though Western SKY, WS LLC or Cash Call needs to work out a plan that I only pay back the principle amount borrowed which to date I have paid 33% of.

They are unwillin to work with anyone. My though is eventually this will go to a collection agency who is more reasonable.

Any adivce?

They are an illegal lender. If it goes to collections you C an D them. I will tell you all CashCall loans go to a company called Delbert Servicing for collections. I do not believe delinquent Western SKy originated loans are sold, however.
