Threats from Cash Center

Good morning!!!!
I recieved two threatening messages on my phone from a company called Crime Prevention. Which is suppose to be Cash Center which is suppose to loan money. The guy that was threatening me is Mr. Johnson and his number is 646-461-3892 ext. 3737. This man has threaten me and telling me that he is going to send the local police to my home to arrest me for a $350.00 loan. This man has left me messages like, you have been writing bad checks (which I don;t own any checks) and Check fraud. But when I asked him how can I pay for the loan he said that they would accept a check from me. Now does that makes since? Can they threaten someone on the phone and then tell them that the local police is coming to arrest me. I then called back and Mr. Johnson was still threating me saying that they are going to take me to court and just being really nasty. Mr. Johnson is willing to take money from me at the end of May 2010.
Can they makes threats? And is it against the law?

no they can't do anything they threaten.in fact i find it laughable that a piece of dirt that breaks the law hand over fist says he is with "crime prevention".file a police report for the threat.then file AG,and FTC reports against this loser,and whoever he works for.then hang up on him as that is what the waste of oxygen deserves.

Yes it is against the law! Report them to the FTC and they attorney general in the state where they are located! Just hang up on him! If you plan on paying them, assuming that you owe them money, do it by money order or prepaid debit card. NEVER give them any personal information! Do not tell them where you work or they will harrass you there as well.
