What is the law in Texas regarding pdl. My husband was laid off so we took out pdl against my paycheck to paybills. We have 6 of them and now it seems my paycheck is going directly to paying them off and we are ODing our account to pay on our other bills. I have tried talking with the pdl and they wont work with me at all. My pdl are:

Speedy Cash
Cash Net
Ameriloan
Ace
247 Greenstreet
Cash Central

Any help would be appreciated. It is getting harder and harder to keep our heads above water and with 2 kids it hard as we have to take care of them.

Payday lending is legal in Texas. You should contact the Texas Office of Consumer Credit Commissioner in order to find out whether or not your payday lenders are legal in your state. If you find that they are licensed, then you can go for the option of payday loan consolidation and pay off the debts in an affordable manner.

The next payments are scheduled to come out on July 1 and then I will be starting the month all over again without any $$. Since they won't work with me on the payments what other option do I have? I can't close my account as my husband works out of town and needs access to the account besides my direct deposit is already scheduled to be deposited and then the $$ will be taken out directy by the pdl. HELP!! I am going crazy trying to keep up afloat with our bills and I am scared I am going to end up driving myself crazy with everything.

Please be certain you include the full name of your lender.

Just to clarify:

Cash Net is NOT legal. CashNetUSA IS!
Ace Cash Services is NOT legal. Ace Cash Express IS!

Also, go into your bank and tell them what's happening. Ask them to put a hard debit block on your account. That will block checks, debits, etc. Open a new account in the mean time and have your direct deposit switched over. Once that account is up and running, send your husband what he needs to access it.
