My husband and I have 11 (I know that is really bad) payday loans. All of them were done over the Internet. If I send out cease and desist letters to all the companies, do they legally have to not take money out if I request that they don't in writing? From what I have read, because these loans were all made online, they don't have to do anything you tell them to.

Here are the companies and what is owed:

AAA Payday - $1000 total, loan is $800
Cash Jar - $1031.50 total, loan is $825
Discount Advances - $803.25 total, loan is $680
United Cash Express - $520 total, loan is $400
500Fast Cash - $520 total, loan is $400
Ace Cash Services - $390 total, loan is $390
500Fast Cash - $520 total, loan is $400
The Loan Shop - $650 total, loan is $500
GECC - $556 total, loan is $400
Payday-Loan-Yes - $440 total, loan is $350
DMA II - not sure original loan amount, fees are $165 every other week.

Any advise would be much appreciated.

Click the link below to read your payday loan laws, they are prohibited in your state, so, all of these lenders are unlicensed lenders.

Basically, they won't abide by any request you send them because they aren't licensed to lend to your state residents, and most of them don't carry a license to lend anywhere, but they do it anyway. They think they are above the law, period. You really need to close out your bank account because they will NOT stop debiting your account, even after you make attempts to stop them. Your account will never be safe since these lenders have access to it. CLICK HERE to find out how to deal with illegal lenders.
