Beware of cash jar!!! Do not, and I repeat, do not have anything to do with these people!!!
I took out a loan from them for $500 in Dec. To this date they have taken a total of $1375 out of my account and they say I still owe them $325. They said it was because I didn't call them within a certain period of time to set up a minimum payment plan or something like that. They make their terms so confusing that I couldn't make any sense out of what they were saying when I called them. I finally had to contact my bank (and of course, pay yet another fee) to stop the automatic withdrawals. So what ever you do steer clear of these thieves!!! And tell everyone you know!

CashJar is a total lie. I tired to call them to sette an account I had with them. I had paid off the first loan. Took out a second loan got myself in a mess with several payday loan internet sites. Most of them had a recovery site that was really nice and they settled and stopped their fees and accepted two payments to clear the account. No cashjar they said my loan was sold to someone esle and they would not tell me whom. That was a couple months ago. I have emailed them and told them I would like to settle the account with them as I had settled several other payday loans. They ignored my request. Then friday out of the blue a weird man called me saying he was an attorney, he would not provide any proof said I had stollen cash loans money. I told him I did not have any loan with a cashloan company. But he quoted my cashjar loan. Anyhow he wanted me fax a statement along with my drivers license on when I planned to pay. I again asked for his proof of who he worked for and he would not supply me with anything. laughed at me kept saying ya, ya, haha haha he drove me nutes. I have done nothing with this as I have had nothing in writing. I have been treated wit arresting me for no paying this loan. The original loan was for $800.00. I reside in Montana. I paid the first loan in full. This loan I couldn't pay had great hardship financially going on and almost lost my home had bank account closed.

I had a loan with Cash Jar and when I sent the letter template telling them they were illegal, they told me if I paid off the remaining principle, I would be good. I sent a cashiers check for that amount and was able to get a PIF email from them. I guess I was fortunate!

I was on the phone with the guy for at least an hour making sure I understood him correctly. He told me that there were 3 payment options available to me. 1. just pay the min balance for up to 4 paydays, but after that it will be the min + $50 to begin to break up the principle. 2. pay the min + $50 to pay on the loan and the principle at the same time (but I'll have to call 3 days in advance to set that up). 3. pay in full which I will have to call 3 days in advance to set up.
My suspicions, besides all of the comments I just read, is that I got a call from cash jar before I even e-signed. The email says that they are open M-F 9A to 6P. It's Sunday??? I called the number back after searching the company on BBB.com and seeing that they have an F rating. It sounded like the same guy but he gave a different name. He said they are opened Sun to Sun 6A to (I can't remember what he said because he changed it twice).

I got a payday loan from Cashjar knowing they werent licensed in my state and no they didnt solicit me. They thoroughly explained all the same info to me and I asked them to pay it off on my first pay date which they did - $345.00. I cant stand reading these things about the rate being too high and they didnt explain how it works. I read the website where it explains how it works and what is charged, I asked as many questions as I needed to get comfortable with how the process works and double checked the info on the contract before I signed. I guess when you really wanna borrow money you dont listen or research or you wouldn't end up in these situations. PS: If you use a PDL matcher like money mutual your info gets forward to all kinds of lenders so if you get scammed from someone other than a trusted source, dont blame the people who actually issued the loan to you because they got the info the same way the others did. I hope all of you that are complaining dont spoil it for the rest of us because these guys really helped me out of a bind and I obviously cant borrow money from you should I find myself in need again.

Cash Jar Loans are SHORT-TERM payday loans!

The interest is high but they are designed for people who intend on paying back on the next payday. If you want a loan with installments or a loan for more than you make on one paycheck, I suggest you find another loan company.

I have used Cash Jar numerous times, before them I used PaydayYes which was bought out by Cash Jar or something of that sorts last year or renamed Cash Jar (the phone number is the same as PaydayYes's was previously.) Cash Jar gave me an introductory discount of half the interest I was paying with Payday Yes.

When they tell you that you qualify for a loan amount, they base it on your salary amount. If you want less money, this is the time in the conversation where you tell them "I understand I qualify for that amount but I only need $_____."

When I get a loan the person always goes over the repayment terms and tells me I need to call at least 3 days in advance to set up whichever repayment term I want to do. I usually pay back the loan in full on the next payday to avoid more interest. Sometimes I'm too strapped to pay on the next payday, and thats when they take the interest, but I never go 2 padays past the day I got the loan. They have never taken more principle than I have authorized them to. Now interest, you have to pay it every time you get paid until you pay off the pinciple amount.

And you should always read your contract. As the borrower, you have responsibilities that are stated in the contract, & its not really that hard to follow.

Cash Jar is the only internet loan company I trust. I tried to get a loan before, and got swindled because the company I was trying to get the loan with, signed me up with a bogus credit restoration company and began taking large amounts of money from my account. When I called about the charges, they said I checked the box that offered the service, & by then they already had my checking account number. As someone who has been taken before, I stick to the 1 loan company that has never done me wrong Cash Jar.

I took a loan from cash jar on 4-27-10 in the amount of $300. to this date they have taken $975 dollars from my acct. The deal was 4 payments to pay off the loan. I failed on my end by not paying better attention to my bank acct. now that i have caught this issue and am trying to resolve, they will not talk to me when i call. Also, i have never received e-mails or letters in the mail from them.......I would like to pay this off, but there refusal to talk to me is going to cause me to close my bank acct. to force there hand... I don't know if there legal or not...i live in washington state

I used to work for them until i found out they are illegal and threated to contact the authories and was terminated. They are in Columbia, Tn and not in miami, fl as they have us lie and say. I have contacted the attorney general of tn also to assist millions of customers in getting refunds for the interest on them loans cashjar stole from yall. Also they have another website which is cashyes.com which is the same company just under different names to throw off the authoriites. If i can further assist let me know. Have a blessed day.

I borrowed One thousand have paid well over my borrowed amount and interest over 1700.00 and yet Im informed by the CSR that I still have to pay over 800.00. So my question is why should I pay 3000.00 dollars back for 1000.00 loan. This is highway robbery. When you call and ask them to deduct the whole amount they say they will but ofcourse they dont then they inform you that you never called to have this amount deducted. This is a way that cash jar has taught the agents to scam the consumers because when you call it is word of mouth. Word of advise go back to the original documents and take time to read it ask for a supervisor and believe me if you over paid you will get all your money back if they are still not flexible use a lawyer atleast your money will go to good cause instead of feeding the fat pig.

Very cocky and just plain unprofessional. They were supposed to have taken my last payment on 11/16/09 but of course tried to take it on 11/14 and I once again got hit with nsf fees with my bank. I made a complaint to the Attorney General in Fl. which is where I faxed the documents and they say they cant get involved. Cash jar is a rip off. The manager "Star" is as nasty as they come. The loan would not have been a problem had they not made the mistakes. Then again they might have done it on purpose to get more money! Who knows but I would like to see someone take these people on. I also made a complaint to the BBB in Fl. but Cashjar is not a member and did not respond to the complaint. Something legal has got to be done to bring these people down!

I have to give credit, to those former employes of Cash Call, who have given the Forum information about CashCall. I've dealt with tme, myself, alomost 4 years ago. They don't leave people alone. They have told me, several times (back then) they would come to my home, etc. Never did? I live in PA, now. I use to see their commercials all the time, here. Howevr..in the last few years, no ads, for them, have been televised. Are they 'fading out'? Hope so.

I ABSOLUTELY don't work for Cash Jar & I'm nobody's fool. I thought this was a forum where I could at the very least tell about my experience so some of the readers know how to approach this loan process so it would work for them instead of getting caught up.
I know why it works for me, but if this forum is intended to be so 1-sided, then by all means bash the crap out of Cash Jar! Or you could post many different opinions & let a consumer make an educated decision.

DO NOT use CashJar.com under ANY circumstances. They have an "F" rating from the Better Business Bureau with over 50 complaints filed. You would do be to deal with a loan shark from the mob.

So how do you get out of this mess? I am in a mess with Cash Jar--I took out a loan the 1st payment was 121.88, the next contact from them 2 weeks later has a different loan number on it and my balance due has gone up by 200. and they are now withdrawing 243.75 from my bank every 2 weeks --I am now at their stage where they will withdraw 293.75 next . I requested 3 different times at my bank last payday for them to stop payment and they refused stating I need to talk to Cash Jar but that they would not stop payment. I live in Mo. and if I close the checking account that is prosecutable according to what I can find out on line. Where do I go from here?

Online Payday Loan lenders only have to be legal in the state and/or country they are issued in. If you live in CA and you drive over to Nevada or Mexico and take a loan out, you are agreeing to the terms of the loan issued in Mexico or Nevada... not California. It doesn't matter where you live or what your state laws are.

Second, they are legal and licensed, anyone who says otherwise could be trying to siphon information from you and will cause you more debit. Beware!!!!

Don't borrow money you can't pay back, if you borrowed $500 and your pay back is $575, and they don't take the full amount the first time... pick up the phone and tell them to take it. They can't read your mind and know what you can afford to pay each time you make a payment, which is why they take only the minimum amount each time costing you a butt load of fees... Be proactive!!

Payday loans are short-term loans and meant to be paid back fast... the faster you pay them off, the less you pay. Anyone who claims they are a rip-off is right, but users of them are high-risk and no one else will loan to them. Just Pay them off asap and move on with your life, what amazes me is the trouble everyone goes through to get out of paying back money you borrowed. They have lawyers and legal teams... you need pay day loans and can't afford lawyers and legal teams... pay back what you borrow and stop being a drain on society.

PS again beware of sharing information to anyone other then a government agency.... they are the real scammers who in turn sell your name and info, you will then get threatening phone calls claiming to be the lender and demanding/forcing credit card info to pay off the loan you owe... you will be scammed over and over like this never paying off the loan you actually agreed and are contracted to.

the idiot above shazzers is a humanoid shill for bottomfeeding online loans.nothing they stated has a grain of truth at all.in fact they are posting from the BIZZARO WORLD where everything is opposite from us on earth.treat #78's post like that.btw their analogies stink like rotten fish as well.also with online lenders their model is to keep debiting forever.i have lost count of how many people are on here with stories about trying to payoff only to be ignored or the drone on the phone plays stupid(well maybe it's not playing) and just the fee is debited.part of me gets weary seeing this stupidity, and i know peple don't buy it but it does get tiresome.

They are a bunch of thiefs never deal with them. They make it look very good and then you will pay almost three time what you borrow from them. Never get quick loans.

I truly think they are ID thieves at cash Jar. We have been rounds with Cash Jar for over a year. They "supposedly" gave us a loan and was taking money from our account for over 6 months...close to $2000 with overdraft fees from the bank. We never noticed b/c of the SMALL amounts they were taking b/c we had direct deposit. After receiving a call from them and discovering their claim of an unpaid loan, we went to the bank and sat down with them. The bank found out we received NO loan from them and refunded our money to us. We filed afidavits with the bank and had them notarized stating the banks findings. These bottom-feeders are still hounding us even with the burden of proof in our favor. We've contacted the State Attorney General in Indiana about this. The calls stopped for awhile and now they are calling family!! Not sure how they got our info, but we most certainly didn't take a loan from these scam artists. We have switched banks and even moved but they always seem to find us. Our next step maybe to hire an attorney for ID fraud on their part b/c when we prove there was NO loan taken out...we're in the right! Yet, they "claim" banks will just give anyone their money back. Best bet for everyone is to get rid of all credit cards and stop taking any loans, legal or illegal, and to stick to cash only. If you can't afford then you don't need it b/c I'm lying odds someone stole our ID's and is using it for Cash Jar money.....not to mention the strange purchases on my credit card from Miami Fl where someone used it to buy hookers. BEWARE OF EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!

I really need some help with this company, I got into a serious bind with being a single mother with 3 kids, i graduating from college in May and my twins graduating from high school and they all needed everything at the same time. So on Oct. 23,2012 I borrowed $950.00 with the understanding that it would be paid in full on my next pay period and on Oct. 29,2012 they debited my account in the amount of $142.50, so I called & spoke with Frank and he said it was an error on their part since it came out before my pay date and I asked was the $142.50 the interest on the money I had borrowed for 5 days and he said yes (and I knew then I had to pay them off ASAP) so again I stated that I was going to pay them in full on my next payday, he said since they took it out on the 29th, they could not process it until my next pay perion on 11/15, well needless to say it's Feb. and they still have not taken their money but they have taken $1,957.50 they will probably take another $320.00 out tomorrow. I'm at my wits end and no not know what to do. Please help me!! Thanks
