has anyone had any luck settling with either of these companies?

They are the only one's I have left to deal with.

Cashnet = claims that they do not set up arrangements except full payment, but would accept any monies but it would not be considered an arrangement.

Think Cash - was the same way...

I haven't been able to send anything as I was so deep with 15 other pdl's and negative in my account and losing my home that I had to regain control. I am in a position now to start sending them a little. As long as they cash my money orders then it proves I am making an effort.

I do get calls from Cashnet, but nothing at all from Thinkcash which i am surprised.

I borrowed 800 w/fee 912 from cashnet, I did have an EPP set up and I've made 2 pmts for 228, so I should have only about 456 left. But I had to stop my last pmt, I sent them a revoke notice, but they tried to debit my account last friday anyway, but there is no money in there, so it caused yet another NSF!!!! How long has it been since you paid either company?

Feb 15th. A long time ago...I had to put my family, house, food and so forth first. So I could have my sanity.... But what is so bad, Thinkcash wants $1100 on a $500 loan, which they can get since they are legal. But like I said earlier, I will be sending some monies to each this month, about $100 a piece...but that's all I can do for now and they will have to accept...don't know what else to do.

Now in your case, I would close your account out so they can no longer debit funds..it's the only way. I did get addresses for both to send money orders...that's the only way they will get money. Close your account and send what you can...at least you will be making an effort.

yes, thinkcash honored the revoke, but cashnet did not. I can't close the account has I'm in the red...all I can do at this point with the checking account is let it go 30 days NSF and then the bank will close it, and then I have to make payments to them, what a mess! I have 2 store fronts I need to take care of also, so I think I'm going to pay the store fronts first and then send these other 2 payments, like you said that's about all I can do. Good Luck

lmale,

From what I have read on this forum, you may can go after the processor to let them know that you have revoked authorization so they can help put a stop on them. I know there is a sticky on processors, but if were you, open another thread to get help in that area, as I am not sure all the facts. I would say to do pay your storefront first...but also, make sure your home life is taken care of as well.

good luck friend, and I know this community will help too. take care

I recieved collection call from Tri Financial regarding Cash Net Usa-you think the people that work for Cash Net are bad. These guys are very hard core. I tryed getting them to argree to $50.00 a month to pay this off, they want $100 or they will walk into my work and garish my wages. Even with the 100 a month I am not sure they won't walk into work. I gave them my debt account number, but on the card I don't use all the time and that is all I am going to put into that card is there 100 a month.
