Hello, new to the site.... I have been stuck in PDL cycle for years, but it has gotten out of hand when I started using online lenders recently. I have a CashNet USA, Lakota Cash, and a Plain Green loan. I am seriously considering closing my account and using a PDL cosolidating company to handle these accounts. I wanted to know if anyone has truly used this type of service. I don't know anyone personally who could understand what this is like, so anyone on here with any advice would be great! I wonder if they truly work and if the PDL companies work with these consolidators. Also, is it fraud for me to close my account even if I didn't give a post-dated check? Please Help!! Thanks!!!

You haven't mentioned the state you live in. Unless you mention the name of the state, it will be difficult to find out whether or not payday loans are legal in your state. Anyways, you can check out the given page in order to find out your state laws: http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/paydayloan/explain-pdls-laws.html .

If the payday lenders are illegal in your state, then you can pay only the principal amount in order to get rid of the debts. You can even close down your bank accounts in order to stop them from debiting any further money from your account. But if they are legal, then you'll be liable for paying the principal balance as well as the fees and interest payments.

I live in Ohio. I think they are legal here. I want to consolidate and I am thinking of going with Relief, LLC. I was wondering if those types of things work and how they work in Ohio with internet loans. I'm okay with paying the fees and what not. I need control over my money because my other bills are falling behind because nearly half of my check goes to PDL fees!

You'll definitely need control over your money if you're falling back on your payments. For that you'll need to prepare a budget. While preparing your budget you'll need to identify those expenses that you may actually do without.

Some of the debt relief services are good while the others aren't. You must check out their accreditations before you sign up. Also go through the testimonials shared by users across their websites if any.
