I sent the suggested letters and the response that I received from CashNetUSA is posted below. They are legal in Texas. What should I do now? I plan to go to the bank and ask to put my account in deposit status only. I don't want to close my account because another acct in the past was closed for PDLs and NSF fees. So, I'm afraid that I won't be able to open another account.

CASHNETUSA RESPONSE:
The ACH authorization that you signed upon agreement of loan disbursement is a payment authorization. You are not legally entitled to revoke this type of ACH authorization and we will not agree to any request.

We will need to have a valid payment plan noted for your entire past due balance to cease all collection efforts. Please call our collections department to discuss your payment plan options.

You may review the details of your account at any time by logging on to our website.

We have received and noted your request for ceasing all telephone communications. All telephone communications will now cease.

CASHNET USA has been known to work with consumers.just explain your situation, and they should be able to work with you on a payment plan.one that doesn't involve debits from your account.

I found that the people at Cashnet USA act like a bunch of schizoids! One will want to work with you and then another says no! They would not reply to any of my letters at all! Even certified ones! Then I would get someone nice on the phone! When I would call back I would get a bully! They are a wierd bunch!

Call them back and tell them you can not afford their settlement offer of the four payments. Tell them what you can afford to pay. Most of the time they will work with someone making an attempt to pay. Its better to work with someone, than not receive nothing at all.

If you are making an attempt on paying a debt and they are unwilling to accept it, a judge will not look kindly on that if they file a civil case and try to get a judgement. Keep a record of all the calls and all your attempt to make payment arrangements.
