I know for sure that Ameriloan and United cash loans are not legal in CA. go to the CA Dept of Corporations website and look up these companies. A LEGITIMATE company in CA won't loan more than $300 TOTAL, Not $300 plus fees, it would usually be about $255 plus $45 in fees to total $300.
You need to figure out what you borrowed, how much you still owe, and how much you have paid to each of these lenders. Post this info and you will get some tips on where to go. I know.......this website helped me get out of debt with my payday loans. I had 7 loans, I am now down to one which will be paid off very soon.

Ameriloan and United Cash are already being sued by the California Department of Corporations. Unfortunately, the courts have sided with the lenders so far, at least insofar as ruling that the state has no jurisdiction over them. Doesn't make the loans legal, but it does keep the state from punishing them.

I hear what you are saying about Ameriloan and United Cash but here is my question....
MTE financial has MANY Dba's including Paychecktoday, Ameriloan, and United Cash....
If the CA Dept of Corporations has a Desist and refrain order against MTE dba Paychecktoday, couldn't someone point out to the DOC of Ameriloan is just another affiliation of MTE.
I know, easier said than done, but this might at least give us some fighting power when negotiating on closing out accounts with Ameriloan and United Cash.
Just a thought, I know it isn't a short term solution but IF you could /find ANYTHING showing MTE is associated with these companies and file a complaint, with your proof, AND a copy of the 'Desist & Refrain' (you can get on the DOC website), this may help the DOC get a Desist and Refrain against MTE DBA ameriloan and United.
