I recently took out a payday loan with CTC for $800.00. Due to some life difficulities I have been unable to pay it back. I have read some of your suggestions within this forum about sending them a cease and desist letter and asking them to not contact my work phone but I have not had much luck. They continue to call my work and said that they legally have the right to call me anytime they choose. They told my work that they have no choice but to cooperate or they will be in trouble and will get the courts involved. They told them this because my manager told them that wage assignments are not legal in the state of Florida and she will not do anything, after which “John” with CTC told her she was ignorant to the law and he would continue to pursue my wages. So now they are not only threatening me but also my work. Is there something else I can do or should I just wait. I just can't handle talking to these people anymore because all they do is make me cry!

Cash Transfer Centers is an off shore company that is very illegal. They are not licensed anywhere in the us to lends. They cannot do anything to you. Please close your account so that they can no longer withdrwaw funds. How much have you already paid them? They can not get the courts in involved.

They were able to get 274.00 from my account before I closed it. I have another payday loan with Geneva Roth for $300.00 that has rolled 3 times at $90.00 each so I had to close my account to stop both of these companies from continually overdrawing my account. They are both equally as mean but CTC is by far the worst!

Hi,

I have no idea what you guys are talking about. These people are actually licensed in most states including florida cuz I have looked them up. If you have a payday loan you have to pay it back just like I had to with them. Just call them up and tell them what going on and you can come up with a solution with them.;)
