to be honest i do not think that as the original creditor, they have to listen to your cease and desist letter. that said they are not allowed to harrass you. i am dealing with this myself with a loan that's at least a year old..
were these loans even legal? most illegeal ones tend to disregard everything as they have no regard to the law.

I dont know the specific laws for your state, but i am working with a debt settlement company who told me that i should send them a cease and desist letter and to give them 2 alternate ways to contact me.(in my case i gave them the debt sett. companys number and my home address and when i get letters from them i throw them out.) Be sure to send these letters certified mail, that way if it does turn out that they are in violation of any laws by continuing to contact you, you have documentation that you sent them the letters and they ignored them. Contact the state attorney generals office and ask when and how you can file a complaint against these companies. (and when you send your certified letter, be sure to tell them that if they do not comply, you WILL be filing a complaint) but be sure to be fully informed of your particular state's laws before you do all this. hope this helped good luck.
