I took out a pdl from my cash now (unlicensed in Wa State). The loan
I took out was $1,000. I have paid back 1505.40. In Wa state the limit is 700 for any one loan and they are not licensed in Wa State. There is also a cease and desist order from the Wa state dept of financial institutions. I have sent them an email like one of your examples and have closed my bank account. My question is can they come after me for not paying any more interest. I did ask them for a refund. I really appreciate it if some one can help me with the answer. I did explain everything to my bank.
Thank you.

So basically, this is what stops illegal lenders from attempting to sue people.
