i went into default on the 1st of april and check n go contacted me today first with an e-mail stating payment arrangements and such. but in part of the e-mail it said that if i didn't make paymnets that they were going to send my info to certegy for a bounced check and i would not be able to write any more checks anywhere until i paid them. when i paid them in full they would contact certegy again so i would be able to write checks. what i want to know is that possible? considering i did it on line and i never wrote a check to them. in the e-mail also states that Southwestern & Pacific Specialty Finance dba check n go. then a lady from check n go calls me and never mentions none of this. can they do that and do i have to worry about that too? please advise since my vicious cycle with the pdls is just starting it's nerve wrecking at times. i live in texas. all help is greatly appreciated. thank you

As far as I can understand, Checkngo is trying to scare you with that email. Checkngo is a legal payday lender in Texas. In such a situation, you should try and make a payment arrangement with them and pay them off. This will help you in sorting out the matter and you'll be able to get rid of the payday loan trap.

It is not a scare tactic. They have clearly outlined what they will do and will follow thru. Certegy is a real SOB of a company, as I found out when there was a problem with my payroll account last year and got involved with them due to where one of my staff cashed thier payroll check! Talk to CNG and try to avoid having to deal with Certegy!!
