Taking a Certified Check to Your Bank?

I realize not everyone is reading my thread, so I am throwing this out there to see if anyone has heard of this.
I defaulted on my loans, storefront, and have one lady telling me she called the bank and they said my account was still open, the funds were there, but she took a certified check to the bank on Tues. and the funds were not there? She asked if I just did not want to pay her? I told her that I had told the truth that the account was closed and no one should have told her the account was open?
Why would she and how could she get a cerified check from me from my old check? Can she take it to the bank and get it from my new account?
