Can I be charged for fraud in Michigan if I put a stop payment on a payday lenders check that I know won't clear my bank account. I want to pay off the loan just am unable to at this very moment.

Yes they are a legal lender and I orginally borrowed 600 and with the fees and such it was 690 owed. I've paid 230 of it and have had an account with this company for sometime just got caught in a bind this time with money.
