I need to find out is Seaside payday and CheckNGo are legal? I have to get onto a payment plan with them immediately but do not want any part of my checking account compromised.

Any advice is appreciated...

Looks like Seaside is based in Nevis so it unlikley that they are legal anywhere. Someone may be able to confirm this.

You cannot effectively block them. You need to close the account or at least have your bank assign you a new account number.

They will find a way around the block.

You also need to call CnG and set up a payoff plan. In OH, they can't do EPPs beyond the 7 renewals so, if you're already there, you may need to force the account to collections and set up a payoff.
