First, I did check all of your payday lenders to see if they were legal.
Advance America and Ace Cash Express are licensed payday lenders.
Check into Cash and The Cash Store appear to be licensed CSOs.
PDL Assistance should not be able to access your account, even with the information you gave them. Once you withdrew their power to act on your behalf they cannot legally use any of your information in any way. If you find out that they have used your information, immediately find an attorney and sue them for the violation.

Ace Cash Express isn't listed but I'm pretty sure they're members. Anyway, that means you are eligible for an extended payment plan, but they won't tell you about it, you have to ask for it. Once you sign up for an EPP the interest will stop and you will make four payments on each payday to pay them off, but you must request the EPP BEFORE you default! Read about it below:

Yes, if you don't contact them or answer their calls they will. I got a call one day from a collection agency regarding the loan I owed from EZ loans, they left a message saying a guy had just left my apartment and was going to serve me but since I returned the call, he aske the guy no to go back since I started a payment plan. EZ loans had filed against me since I did not had the INTENT to pay back ever. he emailed me the papers and showed me, he was really corteous and we were able to work out a plan that I could really afford. Since the court order is a civil matter, I could not go to jail and thank God they're off my back, I'm still paying them. :):D

I thought in the state of Texas they can't garnish wages or collect any unpaid debt? This is over a year old, and I was called at work from a man stating he was issued to serve me papers, but he hasn't yet.

It is recommended to close your account because the Lenders can be cruel and clean out your account once you default and show no signs of paying them back. In my case I can't close my account so I'm still dealing with them and arranging payments that I can afford in order to stay current. I've read throught threads people have posted and they're really helping me out! good luck!
