I have an installment loan at check n go, which is in default. I have made 3 payments of 336.00, but they are saying I still owe 1700.00 on a 1500.00 installment. I can pay them the $237.00 this week to get out default, but all that will do is give me 2 weeks, then I will be back at the same place I am. I asked about a repayment plan, but was told no. I also have 3 internet payday loans. One is payday1, which I have been paying, and have paid the principal, but now still have seven payments of 109.00 left on a $500.00 loan!!! Crazy. I and have 2 other internet loans, one in default, and one that I have paid $100.00 on a $500.00 loan to. On the internet loans, my checking account was closed, so the only one that has my current bank account info is payday one. Can anyone help me out of this mess???

welcome to the forum MC,if you tell us what state you are in

being from IL,i can tell you that your internet pdl's are most likely unlicensed, therefore illegal.you only owe the principle on those loans.check-n-go i'm afraid you will have to work out something as that is an installment loan.one more question.

who are the internet pdls
how much borrowed from each
how much paid total to each.
please supply that information.

the situation with check-n-go is it is an installment loan.different rules apply.unfortunate it is,but the internet loans
you can pay at your leisure.here is what you owe each.

paydayone 100.00
mycashnow 500.00
one click cash 700.00

i would take care of check-n-go before the above because of
the terms and they can take legal action.you may have to pay
according to your agreement with check-n-go.

ACH withdrawals are revocable, so they can't sue you for that. Any legal lender can sue you for non-payment. Pay what you can (as soon and quickly as you can) to prevent them from taking legal action.

If these things default, it usually goes to their in-house collections first. It is there that I have had success in setting up a payment plan with them. If you don't pay them, they (legal ones) can sue you. Your defense if the non-legal ones try to collect/sue is that they are not legal to lend, then, therefore, they have no claim to collect.

i misread your top post,i thought the internets had no access to your current bank info.if even one has access that is bad.i wouldn't even let them have that, you may have to block this
account too.i don't like the idea of any pdl's having your bank acct.

Since one of the PDLs does have you current bank account number, you should close that bank account prior to revoking ACH aurhorization. That way you can work on Check n Go first and put off the illegal ones until you have that one taken care of. Read this information about closing your bank account:

http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/paydayloan/close-account.html

Be careful about revoking ACH until you have your bank account secured. From what I've read in other posts, that may cause the PDLs to take whatever they can get from your account and leave you overdrawn, which then makes it almost impossible to close your account.
