Are there any loans that have say 36% interest rates that are gear towards helping ppl get out of pd loans?

I have 1600 in pd loans (four all together). And one I have gotten an EPP, the one with Check N Go apparently I have had an EPP this year (I did not know that was what they were offering) and the other two I plan to go the EPP route.

Problem is, it is just as difficult to make four payments each time so I'm looking for any other options aside from letting the loans default.

TIA!

Hi.........well, you might want to try to find a Debt Consoladation company that is willing help you with the PDL's. I'm just 'throwing it out there', because if you try to get a 'bad credit' loan, you may, possibly, be paying MORE than the PDL's combined. I'm not really an 'expert' on this. I'm just saying this from personal experience. There will be someone, here, shortly, to help you decide what you want to do and that can help you with different options.

Bea2ls, thanks for your input. I really wish I could increase my income. I had a pt job for a few months but it became impossible for me to keep up with my kids. I moved from NO after Katrina so I have no family in the area I currently live. My ex refuses to pay child support which is primarily why I'm in this situation.

Do you happen to know of any of the companies that will work with pdls?
