I took a loan out with them via the internet. I have actually done so about 7 times. I live in Washington state and all together have paid over $665 in fees. This last one I just didn't have the money for so I placed a stop pay on it. Has anybody ever done this with Check N Go? What is my next step?

Well, if you had not defaulted you would have been eligible for an EPP (extended payment plan, Checkngo are members of the CFSA (Community Financial Services Association of America) and offers an EPP. But you must ask for it as they won't tell you about it. Anyway, no matter, you have already defaulted so you will need to plan a dfferent course of action.

They will sue you, so you REALLY need to contact them to set up some type of payment arrangements, call the corporate office and ask. Or, you might even try requesting an EPP, I doubt if they will let you do that but all they can say is no. Otherwise, if it were me this is what I would do. I would write them a letter with my proposed plan to pay them back and send them a good faith payment (money order) along with the letter. Send it certified mail return receipt requested, on the outside of the green tab write "payment enclosed, 1st letter", this way when they sign for it and you receive it back you will know which letter you sent and what it contained. If you continue to send them payments (as much as you can possibly afford) by the time they decide to take this to court it will most likely be paid off or close to it. That's what I would do.
