im short on cash. and well i just am wondering on check n go. i can pay the loan FULL no problem next payperiod. i want to go in the store and possibly get a small loan. the thing is, its a legal company correct? if i have had problems in the past with ILLEGAL companies in which i am fighting against currently, is there some way the old companies will get a hold of my information from check n go? can check n go see my current disputes against the illegal PDLs? let me know ! i need the money til next payday!

We really don't advocate taking out a PDL to bridge a gap between paydays. We have all said, "I'll just take out one, and pay it back and be done with it..." and look at us, we're coming here in droves! Some of us with as many as 20 payday loans! And it all started with just one. We know how easily it can spiral out of control, but we also know how stressful it is to just hang in there and let a bill go unpaid, too.

However, if you ABSOLUTELY have to get a payday loan, I cannot stress enough that you get only enough to cover the exact amount of whatever it is you need- whether it be to pay a bill that is due, or put gasoline in your car. More often or not, you go in there only needing about $150, and find out you qualify for $1500. So you take the $1500, instead, coz, well, you can. And now maybe you can buy yourself a DVD, or dinner out, now that you have the extra cash to spare. I know *I* have been guilty of this, and wish I had been smarter. It would saved me a lot of money and heartache later.

Anywise, good luck with your troubles.

Yup, all you guys are right. We all feel that we can pay the loan in full at our next payday, so let's just take out a payday loan to meet the gap..and thats the cycle start.

Kash is kinda right, try to sort your problem in another way and please, please try and avoid the pdl mess in the future as well.

Sounds somewhat, that Samantha1234 may be an employee of Check N Go and just ploying to see what others are/will say about this company!!! If you are earnest and honest, stay completely away from any payday loan company. Although, there are some that do not devulge personal information or make blatent threats, you will still end up trapped in the cycle of payday lending. This company is like so many others, bad to deal with!!!

Check N Go was my first internet pdl. I thought the privacy of using the internet was really great. I had to fax about 7 or more pages of ducuments to them (most recent bank statement showing direct deposit, most recent pay stub, copy of a voided check). Anyway, I do not own a fax machine so I had to go to Staples and fax these documents. Cost me $1.25 a page. When I saw ads that stated no fax required, etc. it got my attention, so I went with them. Not a wise choice. It has been a real lesson. I am wiser for the experience although it was costly. I don't know if I would have listened to any warnings. I was panicy to cover a debt because I always was fearful not to pay on time. I believe the way the non-licensed pdl sets you up is that you have to let them know 3 days before due date to pay full amount. If you don't contact them they rollover loan. Now I am able to work out arrangements for more time which I did not know I could do. I got into this mess because a family member borrowed money from me and did not pay when they promised. They still owe even after 6 months. I will not lend money to no one anymore or go to a pdl and have not wrote a check for 6 months. Will never authorize a debit on my bank account. I take out the cash and send money orders and pay utilities at a local site. I hope this makes sense.
