i just recently had the same thing happen to me. I contacted my bank as soon as I found out the money was missing (today) and they linked me up with a fraud charge to the company and said that they will try to refund my money for me as soon as possible and stop payment on any future payments from this company. She said that the bank could retrieve the money back the same way they took it if the system allows to do so and that's even with the payment already processed by the company that took it. The companies use your aba/ routing number you provided when searching for a PDL and that is how they get your money. The woman I spoke with was very understanding and said she has heard of this transaction before. Keeping my fingers crossed i get my money back! It's not right how these people are able to take out your money without your confirmation to do so.
