Hi all I have posted several times in the last few days and can't see them anywhere! I don't know if I'm doing something wrong so before I retype everything someone please let me now you are there!

Hi I am so glad to see that you all are here! I am so scared right now! I have been reading for several days and also spoke to a guy at Langhorne and from what I saw and heard from everyone I had to close my bank acct as a first step. I did that today and now I am waiting for the phone calls. Here is my list

Cashnetusa loan 600.oo paid 600.00
webpayday loan 600.00 paid 300- reloan
prldirect loan 800.00 still pending- reloan
usfastcash loan 450.00 paid 205.00-reloan
littleloanshope loan 300.00 paid 600.00 so far-reloan
Impactusa loan 600.00 paid about 1000.00 so far
speedypayday loan 450.00 have been paying 105.00 since june of 07 cause payment did not clear at that time. I realize how very stupid this was now but I have tryed to live up to what I said I would do.
I live in MD and from what I've seen on the site PDL's are not allowed and I for sure don't get that part. I have seen the MD laws but I still don't understand what to do. I need a copy of the letter to send to the PDL's to stop them from from taking the ach withdrawls. I have one coming due tonight but I closed my acct today cause that seemed to be the first step in everything. please tell me what I should do next as I have been doing this for over a year and fees have gotten to be more than my paycheck and we will not make it another month. It's just my 12 yr old son and I and there is no help to be had. thank you all so very much and God Bless one day at a time.

Well, I am very, very new but I closed my bank account last week and it was scary, but has turned out fine so far. I thought I would start hearing from all of my PDL's right away and actually haven't...they have kind of been trickling in. I have had two phone calls which I took because I didn't want to have them start calling my work. The one company I am in the process of settling with and I told the second one to call me back and he hasn't yet. Most of the others have sent e-mails, so I took the good people of this board's advice and have been e-mailing my letters in to them. I haven't gotten anywhere yet, but I also haven't gotten any more phone calls, so we will see what happens tomorrow after they can't debit again. Hang in there. I have found this board and the people on it to be amazing.

dawn, I'm posting MD state pdl law for all to see. Pdls are prohibited in MD. I'm taking a quick look at your list of pdls, and there are quite a few that aren't licensed/legal anywhere - let alone your state. You've taken the first step, which is closing your bank account. Just be sure it won't be forced open due to pdls. Some banks will open the account back up if there are ACH withdrawls coming through. Your CashNetUSA will be licensed/legal, I do believe. (Someone correct me if I am wrong). As these guys are licensed most everywhere. The others I'm not thinking are licensed for you. You need a letter to send to your pdls? We can post one for you to use. You would just have to "change it up" to fit each particular pdl and situation. Just post as to what you need!

the hardest part of this process for me was closing my account. i had so many problems due to the bank telling me the wrong info! once everything was closed, it really wasn't so bad. Geneva Roth is still not working with me but all that means for me is I'm not paying them yet (pdls are probhibited in my state and I shouldn't have to pay any of their fees, just the principal). Good luck, you'll be fine.

Hi thank you all so much! How do I go about making sure my bank dosen't force open my account? And yes please post the letter I need it. And do I contact the pdls to tell them that I want to try and work with them or let them come to me? And when I call the MD people what do I tell them? JEEZ I am so not knowing what to do next. And is there a letter to make sure they don't take my paycheck? Thank you all so very much for the help I am so grateful. God bless and one day at a time.

Hi all I contacted cash net usa today and told them my bank acct had been closed due to lost checks. I also told them the bank would not open another checking acct for me due to being in cheksystems. They said to contact them for payment schedule and until schedule was made collections would continue but that my acct had been noted with my situation. I have paid more that 600.00 in the last 2 months for a 600.00 loan but if I need to I will pay the other 600.00 for principle. Please let me me know what you think I should do with this? Thanks and as always God Bless

I have found out the in NC it is illegal. I have contacted my bank and they are putting a block on these companies. I don't know how all the rest of this works. For a total loan of 650.00 in PDL's I have repaid 1090.00 already and they say I still owe them. Also, they do not have the paperwork on file or any record that I have contacted them about repayment, the forms that I have I signed no refinance option and to take it all out at once, of course they don't have those pages. I even have e-mails that they have responded to telling me thewy can't help me. Can I get in legal trouble if I block their payments?
