More PDLs Than I Remember

Hello this is my first post My name is Eva I'm 29 and I livei n NY. In 2009 I remember taking out maybe 3 PDLs and paying off most but I closed the account without even giving the balances a second thought. About 8 months ago the phone calls started coming to my job...I asked them not to call there but they didnt listen, anyway income tax time I thought I would do the right thing and I pay off what I owe. Today a 5th one called me and I know I don't have any more. Two questions, 1 is there a way to find out how many are in my name and 2 they're now telling me to get a lawyer and prepare for court, should I?


Payday loans are illegal in New York so you do not need to worry about these lowlifes taking to you to court. In fact the next time they call you demand that they send some form of documentation on the so called debt, they will probably tell you that they don't have to send you that but they do. If they refuse to send you anything tell them that you will treat this as a scam and ignore their calls also file complaints with your AG, and the FTC. Do not let these morons scare you as they know they have cannot really do anything but try and tell you lies to get you to pay them something you probably don't even owe.
