Closed my Bank account today/Made deposit only, and sent emails to the 5 PDL's now i just wait!

I just got this emil from cutter group:

5/2/13

Mr.xxxxxxx

"We respect a consumer who researches the services to which he/she uses. With that being said when you applied for and agreed to the terms of the loan, it would have behooved you to read the complete contract you agreed to with Cutter Group. You are a citizen of Iowa, however the contract was not made in Iowa. The contract was completed via the world wide web, the governing law (clearly outlined in your contract) which you agreed to by your legal e-signature are the laws of the jurisdiction in which the lender is located.

That said, after reviewing the account history it appears that you have made two successful payments of $60 totaling $120. The lender would agree to settle the account for the amount of the approved credit which was $200. In order to close this account and mark it as paid in full the lender would require that the remaining $80 be processed from the account or mailed in the form of a money order. Please acknowledge that you have received this settlement and accept it and the instructions to mail the money order will be sent back to you. We will await your response. For your convenience and to allow ample time for your response, your next due date has been postponed to 5/22/13.

Thank you.

i just got this from United cash loan, i find it pretty amusing, saying there legal but then offering a settlement!

"Dear: Blake
Balance: $260.00

Thank you for your correspondence regarding your account. We are disappointed that you are no longer satisfied with your loan. However, the loan agreement you entered into with United Cash Loans was and is a valid agreement, which is governed by the laws of the Miami Tribe of Oklahoma, a federally recognized Indian tribe.

In addition, it has come to our attention that the form you are using for your correspondence originated from a forum on the website http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/ . Regrettably, posters on these types of forums tend to traffic in misinformation and mistruths. Often, forums of this nature advance the incorrect theory that form complaints and letters will absolve customers of the obligations set forth in the valid loan agreement entered into between the customer and United Cash Loans.

Notwithstanding, United Cash Loans takes pride in its customer relations and has reviewed your account to ensure that all debits and payments were in accordance with your loan agreement. Upon review, your transaction history shows that all debits and payments on your account were correct. As such, United Cash Loans will not be issuing a refund on your account. However we may settle this account for 2 payments of $130.00 for the total payment of $260.00 starting 06/07/13

Should you have any further questions concerning your account please call our Compliance Department at 1-800-394-3757 Monday–Friday 8:00AM-3:00PM CST, or email the Compliance Department at compliancedepartment@unitedcashloans.com.

Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter.

Sincerely,

United Cash Loans Compliance Department

do you owe 260.00J?i'm guessing you overpaid.send a new letter.basically the old one with this added.

if you are legal and the site is wrong then why settle?sorry but the misinformation and lies come from you.fine no refund, but i am not paying another penny.so there it is.that is my position and it's not changing.

send that addition to your original email.btw they have a track record of no refunds, but will still claim you owe.ridiculous.

We are sorry to hear that we were unable to come to any type of mutual agreement in regards to the settlement of your loan.

We would like to work with you to come to an agreement to pay off your loan. So, while we are not obligated to do so, and in full and final settlement of your grievance and any claims you may wish to assert against us, we will agree to the amount and schedule below. Once all the agreed upon settlement payments have been successfully paid, we will waive the remaining balance on your account. Agreeing to this settlement will freeze any interest or fee amounts currently outstanding.

Current Amount Due: $540.00

Number of settlement payments: 5

Payment Schedule:

06/03/2013 $108.00

06/17/2013 $108.00

07/03/2013 $108.00

07/15/2013 $108.00

08/05/2013 $108.00

Payment Method: ACH

Although we do accept Money Orders and Cashier’s Checks, we strongly recommend that you select ACH transfer to prevent any issues that may result from an untimely or lost payment sent through the U.S. postal system. Please notify us if you would like to use a payment method other than ACH.

To finalize

this settlement option, please reply "I AGREE" in the subject heading. You hereby voluntarily authorize us to initiate automatic debit entries to your Bank Account in accordance with this Agreement. Only upon receipt will settlement be made.

If you chose not to agree to the proposed settlement, you may send a letter to the Tribal Financial Services Regulatory Authority. If your letter is not received within ten (10) days, the full balance of your account ($540.00) may be sent to a 3rd party collections agency. Please send your written complaint to the following address:

Tribal Financial Services Regulatory Authority

P.O. Box 704,
