Hi everyone, this is my first time on this forum and have found some very informative advice but still haven't found a clear yes or no to my concern.I have a storefront PDL with Cash Advance I have made 3 payments of $200and still owe them $1000. I personally walked in their store last week and told the man there that I was falling behind on my rent and having to borrow grocery money.I asked if There was a way I could make payments and he flat out said "NOPE!" I tried to make him understand my situation and that I have every intention to pay them back and he said that all he could do was collect payment on the check from the bank and once it defaulted with NSF then MAYBE they could work out a arrangement. He gave me a toll free number to a hotline.I haven't called yet.I live in San Antonio,Texas and fear being arrested.I wrote a post dated check for the 8th of July but don't have the money and won't have it anytime soon.My only option as far as I can tell is to close my acct. before they try to debit it,but will I be breaking the law?If anyone can give me some sound advice I would be most thankful.I just need a mental break already I can't remember ever being this stressed and thats cause I am a single mom of four.Any help would help at this point. Thanks for reading my post.
