Closing Checking Accounts

I would prefer not to close my account. I going to try, removing the overdraft coverage from my account, in addition to requesting an ACH Block. I will just have to pay the overdraft fees. I remember reading somewhere that online PDL are only allowed to debt your account (to collect a debt) a certain number of time (1-2) depending on the state. I'm believe it's two time here. I'm in IL. Any thoughts would be appreciated. This is a very helpful site!

If you are dealing with Illegal loans , it does not matter what the law says. They are illegal and do not follow the law. They will debit you and bring your overdraft into the thousands. You really do need to close the account
