The link below c ontains Iowa's payday loan laws:
http://www.paydayloaninfo.org/stateinfo/IA.asp
Internet payday lenders are not legal in Iowa, either because of restrictive laws, or because the state does not license companies not located in that state, but requires a state issued license to lend.

You need to get your account closed asap! CLICK HERE to find out how to deal with illegal lenders.

i agree, i know star cash and probably all of them actually will drain your account. secure your account before mentioning anything to them or they will hit your accoutn sooner or purpose. speak with a bank manager, if it is too late to stop your check from hitting, they can put on a temporary hard block until you can close out your account permanately.

Due to an illness unfortunately we went into arrears on our mortgage, and after recuperation needed to borrow money to get back onto an even keel. I tried my bank first to find that they were not very sympathetic to my cause, I then learnt a very important lesson if you have any sort of bad credit history you are far better to go through a reputable broker. They will listen to you as a person and help you by finding the right lender for you instead of trying yourself and risking many rejections until you find the right person to speak to. I was fortunate enough to find http://www.usainstantpayday.com/ through google who took over and did the rest for me to get the bad credit loansThe moral of this story is be guided by people who know what they are doing
