I have had 2 lines of credit with cashnetusa over the past 2 years. 1 when I lived in northern VA, and one more recently when I moved to central florida. I have come on tough times financially and have been unable to keep up the payments. Reading on the forums here, I noticed that in Florida, the maximum amount cashnet extends is 500.00, however when my new loan was opened in september, they extended me 1100.00(same as prior amt I had in VA).

I made 1 payment before things went haywire for me, and now I show an amount in default which is basically the entire balance less one payment.

How should I proceed, and was it legal for them to extend that amt to start with?

when you got the new loan did you update your info?alot of people unless certain info like bank info changed they just go under the same info.if you didn't update your address then they are not at fault here.did update your info when you got thr other loan in fl?

you can report them to your DFI and AG,but other than that it is a legal loan i'm afraid.

to give an update -

I sent CNUSA the ACH revocation email and a payment plan offer, also mentioning the facts above, and have not heard from them yet.
