MMG/Eastside
in the last several week my family have been getting calls about me committing credit fraud in my county. I had two payday loan in 2011. One with eastside lenders and the other with MMG. I guess now they have sold these loan to 3rd party collections agency. So Wolfe & associates is calling for MMG and Check services is calling for eastside lender all day everyday and anybody. Someone showed up to a family members house on Tuesday to issue me a summon not sure for which one. I contacted both agency today. I told them that this was resolve and they call me to call back in 24hours with proof. They had my address wrong and they both kept asking me for the original account number. I don't know where to start.

Who do you file the complaint against
who do I file the complain against.... the original PDL company or the third party collection agency...Is their a template of what needs to be noted in the complaint?

Both Eastside lenders and MMG are illegal. Illegal lenders can’t take any legal action against you. They are just trying to scare you by giving false threat. Don’t share any personal information with them. File a complaint against them to the SAG or FTC.

What action do I need to take to stop the phone calls to my family members?

you file AG,AND FTC complaints as FL does take complaints seriously.also have that family member file a police report as that was trespassing and needs to be reported.also anyone called needs to file police reports as well.tell them it's a scam,and to either not answer,or hang up on them.they will eventually get the message.
I would file the complaint
I would file the complaint against both of them for this reason: the collector was working for the PDL, so imo, they are both responsible. The PDL was paying for them to do this. On a side note, if any of these people feed you the line that you are going to be arrested, check your county court's website. If anything's going to go down, it would be there under your name. If you don't see your name there, guess what: THEY'RE LYING!!!
Make sure you file complaints
Make sure you file complaints with the Floria Office of Financial Regulation they are the ones that handle payday loans in FL. Don't let the lenders or there multiple collection companies scare you because under FL law without a license they have no legal right to enforce the contract.
