Why do some PDL's give in and PIF accounts, but other harrass you

Why do some give up and others don't? Is it b/c they are larger companies?

It's like collection agencies. Some play by the rules, and some don't. Those that don't give a bad name to those that do. Though I've heard stories of the same collection agency(that I have)say Nco for example harassing someone here, but have yet to contact me or anything.

I had the same situation, most of my companies gave me PIF's, 1 dropped off the face of the earth and another few harassed me for months before they finally caved and gave me the PIF...perhaps they are starting to see more & more people realize that they are illegal and try to get out of they cycle, they could be running scared. But I doubt it, for every one person that get's out of the cycle, someone else will get it.
Keep your chin up, they will give up sooner or later :D
