I have several internet pdls that I'm trying to pay off. One is through someone called SSM Group LLC. I do not have any record of this company and I've never even heard of them. They (along with other pdls) have overdrawn my account $500. Does anyone have contact information for SSM Group llc?

If you list for us
Who you have loans with
how much you have borrowed?
How much you have repaid . total repaid to each. Add fees and principle to get one total for each lender.
Are they store front or internet?
What state are you in?

It is going to take a lot of legwork to track ssm group llc down. Do a search is the box above and you will find several thread about them. They are apparently linked to SJM marketing and will use the absolute worst tactics to collect. Demand that ssm group llc send a mailed statement that has their address.

I'm in Arkansas. I don't have the exact amounts here at work with me.

I've contacted Paycheck Today, 500 Fast Cash and one other company, closed those accounts and worked out payment plans with them.

SJM is being a pain and won't work with me at all unless I can afford to pay the entire $325 balance. I've contacted SJM and they deny any connection with SSM Group LLC. They claim to have no idea what company that is.

All of these are internet pdls. The first three were very helpful with setting up a payment plan and stopping all financing fees.

I'm a single mother with two jobs and I'm barely able to keep my lights on right now. The direct deposit from the second job goes to a savings account and that is what is keeping gas in my car and food on my table right now.

dumplin, also, these pdl's have to be licened by Arkensas to be legal.......please correct me if I am wrong someone..and the first two you listed Paycheck today and 500Fast Cash are not going to be licensed anywhere.

None of your pdls will be licensed if all you're dealing with are Paycheck Today, 500 Fast Cash, and SSM Group LLC/SJM (which they are the same). They are all unlicensed/illegal. So, basically you have unlicensed/illegal companies debiting your account. You need to go to your bank and tell them you have fraudulent activity on your account. The information for ssm is the same as sjm/platinum b. Not licensed/legal.

My head is spinning quite a bit....lack of sleep (two jobs and staying up worrying half the night) is not helping me much. Okay, I can legally go to my bank and have them close this account and tell them these charges are fradulent? (The last one is OneClickCash - sorry about that).

Am I not responsible for paying back the loan amounts? Like I stated before, I have made arrangements with Paycheck Today, 500 Fast Cash and OneClickCash for repayment. The original loan amount plus the finance fee; no more bi-weekly fees.

One Click Cash is also unlicensed/illegal. Just for your info. Have you revoked these pdls debit authorization of your bank account?

No, I haven't. Okay, here's the list from my banking info. The amounts deposited and payments made. I don't have full payoff amounts with me (They're at home.) but this will give you a general idea:

Payday Services - $500.00, paid $62.50 (should have payment arrangements)

Ambassador (assuming this is 500FastCash) - $350, paid $210.00 (should have payment arrangements)

OneclickCash - $300, paid $180 (should have payment arrangements)

Paycheck Today - $300.00, paid $90 (should have payment arrangements)

SJM Group - $250.00, no payments made (returned NSF/no contact info)

SSM Group LLC - $250.00, paid $75.00 (will not work with me - payoff is $325.00)

dumplin, you're not dealing with any "legal" companies here. And you've set up payments with some of them? Are they asking for more than the principle amount? You need to do something so that these pdls can not debit your bank account. They are all unlicensed/illegal to lend to you. And they will continue to debit your account until they feel as though they are "done", which is never. If you don't feel comfortable closing the account, can you do a hard debit block on it so that nothing goes through? Also when you set up payment arrangements with some of these guys, how are you paying ssm group llc back? Via bank debits or money order or western union? How are they expecting payment to be made?

About revoking their debit authorization, you can send them a letter revoking everything under the sun. They will ignore it and continue to debit your account; however, you will have documentation that you did revoke their debit authorization. I have a letter I can 'pm' you if you would like.

I have set up payments with four of them. They are asking the original loan amount plus their financing fee. For example, PayCheck Today was $390 for total payoff. He set it up for three payments of $130 each. Two companies are ACH payments and two are debit card payments.

The biggest problem I'm having is the bank is paying some of these charges (and slapping me with a $35 overdraft protection fee) and returning some of them (charging a $35 returned check fee). It's like a never-ending cycle and I'm beginning to feel like a hamster.

I could put a hard debit block on the account but I have "real" bills (mortgage, insurance, etc.) that are ACH monthly also.

I've majorly screwed up, huh? Please pm the letter to me so I can at least send it to SJM and SSM (guess I'll just send to SJM also?)

dumplin, please don't say you've majorly screwed up. You haven't. I just hate that you didn't know they were illegal beforehand; however, none of us here did. Have you made any payments already on the ones that you made payment arrangements with? If so, did they deduct the payment amounts from your payment agreement?

I have been doing some searching. Evidently I have loans and payments that I know nothing about. This is a mess. SJM says I've paid $75.00 and they know nothing about SSM. The bank says I've paid nothing to SJM (nsf's) and I've paid $75.00 to SSM. That makes absolutely no sense.

AHHHHHHH! I have made the "financing fees" they withdraw bi-weekly on my pay dates on all except SJM. They did not give me any type of credit when I made payment arrangements for the "fees" already paid.

By the looks of things, I have eight (HOLY COW!) ipdl's for a total of $2400 in loans (not counting fees). I have paperwork on the ones I knew about and don't have paperwork on some of them. I'm about to have to leave Job #1 and go to Job #2 where I have no internet access. I'm going to try to get some of this mess straightened out and figure out what the heck is going on.

Here's what I have so far:

E-Payday - 09/17/07 - $200.00 - $120.00 in "fees" paid

500FastCash - 09/17/07 - $250.00 - $225.00 in fees and $30.00 NSF charge paid

OneClickCash - 10/04/07 - $300.00 - $180.00 in fees paid

Ambassador (?) - 10/05/07 - $350.00 - $210.00 in fees paid

Paycheck Today - 10/17/07 - $300.00 - $90.00 in fees paid

SJM Marketing - 10/17/07 - $250.00 - $0.00 paid

SSM Group (?) - 10/17/07 - $250.00 - $75.00 in fees paid

Payday Services - 10/19/07 - $500.00 - $62.50 in fees paid

I will check back in this evening but I have to go for now.

dumplin, I'm going to pm you a letter to use right now. Send this letter to your pdls. Only state that you will pay the principle amount. These are unlicensed/illegal pdls. Do not pay more than the principle amount of the loan, okay? You need to get your figures correct for the letters. I know it's confusing; however, you want your documentation to be accurate. If you have any questions regarding the letter, just post. Also - have you filed complaints against these pdls yet? Let me know that you received the letter okay.

Thank you! I received the letter and will fax and mail them tomorrow. Well, I say I will. I will have to find mailing and/or fax numbers for half of them.

The figures I listed above are the correct principle amounts. Those are the amounts deposited into my banking account. I think I have the figures straight now. I just have to figure out how to fax and mail these letters.

I have not filed complaints against them. I'm not exactly sure who the DFI is in Arkansas or how to contact them. I work for Dept. of Finance & Administration but we don't cover financial institutions.

dumplin, on the unlicensed/illegal pdls, only agree to the principle amount. Just the amount that they deposited into your bank account. Period. Deduct the amount of money you have already paid them. That's what you'll want to say you "owe". Give them about 7 days (as the date to respond by). Post every pdl that you need contact information on. Just put the names of who you need addresses/phone/ect., on here and we will post the information for you. :D

Okay, I'm working on this. I also talked to a bank manager at my bank. She is helping me work out my checking account. She said I need to start a new checking account today and have all my stuff transferred. She is then going to do a "charge-off" on my account. That's the only option she could think of that would work. (But she didn't tell me to do this either.) If that's what I need to do, then I'll do it. Now I get to figure out how I'm going to live for a week on $30 that I have in my savings account. I'm not sure how I'm going to pay my bills since I'm going to lose my entire paycheck tomorrow.

I only have about fifteen things to do today. Deep breath. Okay, I have fax numbers for Nationwide Cash Advance/Ambassador, One Click Cash, PayCheck Today, SJM Marketing and E-Payday/Paragon Funding.

I need information for Payday Services, SSM Group and 500 Fast Cash. I have a mailing address for 500Fast Cash but would like a fax number if anyone has it.

Lastly, the letter mentions how much I should owe according to Arkansas regulations. How do I figure that amount?

I have to call about setting up a new checking account now.

I have the same company doing the same thing to me right now. It's SSM Group LLC and when you call it will say OSL Marketing. I have tried to call them to and they state I owe 325. Well I paid 675 and the only way to have them stop debting my account is to pay the 325 in full. I need serious help. I read that SSM is unlicensed and illegal? Some please help us!

Ok......sorry. The number is 1-866-463-2130 ext 116. Her name is Christina and she's very snippy so watch out. I asked her about being illegal and unlicensed and she stated that anyone who takes out a loan with them agreed to Nevis Law. I did contact my bank considering that I paid back 675 and they are putting a stop payment on them but they can go back and get around it. They also suggested I close my account and reopen a new one. Oh.......this Christina lady also said that since I did pay in so much, she will call the lender to see if they will zero out my account but she couldn't promise anything and that she would give me a call back.

Thank you. I called that number and got their fax. I also found the fax number for Payday Services. The only one I have left is 500Fast Cash. I need a fax number for them. I have their email.

I just faxed two letters. I have my new checking account set up and ready to roll. I've contacted everyone except my mortgage company to update routing information. I'm headed to the new bank to get some checks.

Well, I'm thoroughly confused now. I have paperwork for a Paragon Funding. I sent them a fax...using deduction I thought they were withdrawing under the name E-Payday or EME Marketing. A lady called. I do not have a loan with Paragon but I have paperwork? I wonder if they know what they are doing.

Has anyone heard of E-Payday Loan or EME Marketing? Do you have any contact information for them because evidently I don't.

Good job! Usually if you are looking for info you can use the search box in the top right corner of the page. If someone has included it in a post it will be there. That is where I look for addresses and stuff like that. OR if you want to know about a specific company, it is good for that too.

Okay, I've printed ALL my letters and I'm going to fax them now. I talked to the lady at my bank. She is going to make sure my car insurance is paid before she does a charge off on the account since it's too late to stop it for this month. She's a really helpful and sweet lady. I don't think she's really supposed to be telling me this information.

I also talked to my life insurance company and I am getting some of the profits off my policy to help me make it through these next few weeks.

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! I'm sure I'll be getting hell from the companies still but with your help and her help I can at least see some light at the end of the tunnel.

Good Work!!! Be sure to mail those letters USPS certified return receipt as well. You want to prove they received your letters. I also e-mailed mine as well. My bank did the same thing. It seems you are on your way. Once the companies start calling I would suggest trying not to take the calls, let them go to voice mail or if you have to talk to them, tell them you are not there, take a message and then reply in writing. I keep detailed notes on a spiral note pad, who called, what time, what was said...etc. Remember we are here if you need us.

I don't have addresses for most of the companies. However, I have stapled the fax confirmation to the original fax. Our machines show the first page of the fax along with a time and date stamp. I'm sure the companies will be impressed getting letters from a state office anyway. I can try to find addresses for the companies if I need to mail them also. To be honest, I'm not sure I can even afford to mail eight certified return receipt letters right now. I'm hoping my lights stay on until I can get the money from my life insurance company.

The lady at the bank told me that if they try to debit my account through ACH or my debit card she will call me and the bank will not pay and will prosecute them for fraud.

Wanna hear something funny? The only loan company to respond so far was Paragon...the one I didn't have a loan with. They were terrified that I was reporting them to the BBB, AG Office and FTC. I let them sweat for a little while and then called them back. BTW, do I need to actually send copies to these places? If so, I'll have to go find that information too.

I also have notes with names, dates and times. Just a habit I have. Everything is in a file folder for later reference if needed.

cannr - I only have one loan with the same group that we are speaking of in this conversation. SSM Group LLC. I have all the information I need and actually gave it to this person. I appreciate your help. I have spoken to them and my bank. My bank is going after them! They have put a stop on that payment coming out of my account and they are going after them for me for the overpayment and the overdraft fee's they have caused my account. I'm glad they are helping me in this area. I have also contacted the BBB. I spoke to the loan company and the lady I spoke with said she would talk to the lender and see if she can get them to 0 out my account since I've repaid so much. She was very rude and said that if they do that, I will never be able to get another loan from them again. That's perfectly fine with me. I'll never in my life do this again! It's a hard lesson to learn I'll tell you that!
