HEY ALL

IS THIS COMPANY LEGIT TO COLLECT ON A PDL (NATIONAL CREDIT ADJUSTERS 866-660-1626.  I LIVE IN NEW YORK AND HAVE PAID THE PDL COMPANIES FAR MORE THAN I SHOULD HAVE....CAN THEY SEND ME TO COLLECTIONS...AND IS THIS COMPANY LEGAL TO COLLECT IN NY?

Ignore the comment above - national credit adjusters is a bottom feeder collector and is collecting on an illegal loan if you are in NY - pay then nothing and follow the advice in my sig to deal with a CA

Payday lending is prohibited in NY. All lenders are illegal in your state. So you owe principal only. Don’t pay back them an extra dime other than the principal. As you have overpaid them, so ask them for a refund. Close down your old bank account and open a new one. Don’t worry, illegal lenders can’t do anything.
