how to deal with pdl companies in tx
Date: Thu, 04/11/2013 - 12:42
i would like to know the specific procedures on how to deal with Payday loan companies. i currently have 7 store front and 1 internet loan. i have made payments or renewed all but 1 storefront company which i was unable to make any payments. i have already closed my bank account and discussed my situation with my banker. the bank has close the account that my loans were made on and she has opened a new account with no ties to the original account. i want to pay the loans back but cant afford the minimum payments any more as the have surpassed my income. i was going to try a pdl consolidation company to handle my case but have found so many scams that i don't know how to find an honest company. so i would like to handle it myself but don't know how to deal with them. should i wait for collections or should i make payments i can afford. how do i get it in writing. i am completely ignorant to the procedures. i have read some of the post but everyone uses abbreviations for everything and i dont know what the mean. any help would be appriciated as im not sure how to get out of this nightmare i got myself into.
Well, first of all, you need
Well, first of all, you need to list the names of the lenders you borrowed from and the amount you borrowed and repaid till now. That would help us get specifics for you.
As I see it, even if you had a shot at qualifying for the EPP, that is all gone given that you closed your bank account (and hopefully revoked ACH before you did so).
Revoking ACH/closing your bank account automatically forces the accounts into collection. The good news is that you can negotiate on the terms with some extra flexibility while the accounts are in collection.
