Loan from Ace Loan Services

In March I took out a loan from Ace Loan services , I was paying it on time but lost my job through corporate downsizing.I had tried to maintain payments but not able .My wife works ,and with the bills we have today are not able to pay the outstanding loan. The loan was for $1,000 and managed to pay $800 of and they want their full $1000 plus intrest.I have been bothered at work and the phone calls just keep coming.Will all this affect my credit

Ace Loan...are they a Payday service?? If they are, and I'm assuming, from what you're saying, PDL's won't show up on your credit. Why??.....because 99% of their % rate is illegal in ALOT of states. If you have debits, from them, coming out of your account, I would 'stop payment' on anymore debits from them. Remember..........you have a house to maintain and ( I'm sure) other bills to pay, and food bills, etc. i REALLY don't think they will take you to court ( personal experience..I had ALOT of PDL's in the past I couldn't pay), but if they do, you would ONLY have to pay whatever the % is in the state where you live.
