I just got a call from Ace Cash Express' corporate office Cash Advanced. They are saying that if I do not pay the original $650 amount by 4:00 pm. today a warrant for my arrest will be issued and a Sheriff will arrive at my place of employment tomorrow morning to take me to Federal prison.
Is this a scare tactic and can they really do this for check writing fraud, as they called it?
