Quick question, I know I have seen it here somewhere but I don't see a search feature. I sent my letters out today and instantly I received a reply from Advance Me Today, it is the form letter about the treaty between the US and their island and how that trumps all my state laws. I am in WA state and they are illegal. What was the correct response to give them when they mentioned this?

Advance Me Today will always send an auto reply until they haven't received your payment. They were the most difficult to deal with. I know that in CA they were served with a Desist & Refrain order and they still continued to contact me. I just let it be and continued to ignore them after I found out about the order.

I sent them the letter again and received the same form letter. Tomorrow is when they are supposed to withdraw that account. I closed my BofA account about 2 weeks ago and I left my netflix set up to withdrawal from BofA to make sure it works. They tried over the weekend and where refused, so apparently BofA is going to honor the fact that the account is closed.

Thanks for that number, I just sent it. Maybe someone with a brain will respond this time.

Thanks bingonut, I replied with basically what you said with a little more meat to it. Added some stuff about my AG and how state law prevails over their countries laws. I copied their customer service email which is the same email address I used to send the original letter to and I received a reply almost instantly. It was word for word the same same exact thing as the previous letter telling me about the treaty, this time it had a different name on it. I assume its an auto reply so I will ignore it for now.
