i have the following payday loans and would like to know how to get rid of them. I have read post and will call my bank to put a hard ACH hold on debits immediately.

Crown lending - $150
Arrowhead Investment - $200
VC Funding - $300
CAN - $300 i don't even know who they are
USFastCash - $400
paychecktoday - $500
internet funding - $200
UCA Advance - $100
Advantis Financial - $300

I pay $800-$900 a month in fees for these companies, please help fast!!!!

I am also in California and know that for a judgement to be legal, you have to be served by a process server at least 30 days before your court date.
It would also behoove you to contact a lawyer to see if papers were actually filed against you in South Dakota, would they be legal, since you are not a resident of the state. Also, was this an internet loan--and btw, I have checked the Ca.gov website and they aren't even licensed in California! This is an illegal loan and they can't do anything.

Go to hell "Guest" who are you to judge people here? I bet you must be a Payday Loan employee and is coming to the realization that you are about to loose your rip off job.

I want to cuss you out so badly but this is not the site for it.

I would place a wage revocation statement at work.

Did you get any papers from your employer? If your work got legal garnishement papers they have to supply you a copy before they garnish.

They can not legally garnish without a court order but they can invoke a wage assignment. Revoke that ASAP!

Okay, here is the latest with Avantis Finacial.?? After 3 months I finally received my mail from my old address??that they sent three certified letters to.?? The first one stating they were going to sue me and I had to appear in court, the second stating they sued me and one because I did not show up and the third one that they were sending a letter to my employer to have them garnish my wages.?? I also received letter from my employee that they sent to my old address (don't ask me why, as they send everything else to my new address) that they were going to garnish my wages.??
My question is this, I have not lived at that address for 3 years although I did use that address when I applied for the cash advance as that was my address at the time.?? Can someone tell me if what they did was legal?
??

The number to call is: 800-957-8319 ask for Marquita ext. 7233 who happens to be the rep. helping me. MAKE SURE YOU PUT AN ACH BLOCK ON ALL OF THE COMPANIES YOU HAVE THE LOANS WITH. (Just call your bank to place them, some banks may charge for each ACH block). Hope this helps and have a blessed day!
