Crown lending

Does North Carolina have a limitation deadline for payday loan lenders? I just received a call from Crown Lending stating I owe them from 2 years ago. I tried to call them several times, but no luck, so i gave up. Can they prosecute me?

all pdl's are prohibited in NC so you take their threats as lies and scare tactics.besides debts are civil matters not criminal ones.that especially goes for internet pdl's.so to answe your first questtion,no there is no limitation on an illegal internet pdl as they broke the law in lending in a state where pdl's are totally prohibited.
