I have 2 outstanding PDL's. One with Payday Loan Yes and the other with TLC Cash. Payday Loan Yes is actually threatening to garnish my wages now and furthermore, stated that they will be adding all of these outragous fees. Can they actually garnish my wages? I live in CT.

well first thing is pdl's are prohibited in CT,and payday loan yes is not based in the US so they can't garnish as they would need a court order.they are reffering to a wage assignment.that is voluntary and revocable.draft a WAGE ASSIGNMENT REVOCATION letter and give it to your HR,or payroll person.then this illegal piece of pdl garbage is helpless.
