I just got off the phone with a rather unpleasent gentleman from CTC. He is threatening to attach my wages if I do not pay in full tomorrow. I am willing to make payments but they will have none of it. I know I need to send a letter revoking my wage assignment but what if they take action before they recieve it? Also should I just start sending payments? I want to get this paid off unfortunaltely I cannot do it in full.

They are illegal to lend in the US....Immediatel, fax and e-mail them revoking your wage assignment, then also tell them they cannot contact your employer or any references listed on you application....then run to the bank and close your account because they will attempt to debit your account under different amounts...Good luck! Don't send anything right now...

get that wage assignment revocation letter out.give it to your employer as well.CTC is illegal in every way.once they know they can't get there flimsy wage assignment, then you can deal with them on your trems.

Do not worry about CTC. What you need to do ASAP is draft a letter revoking all voluntary wage assignmnets and give it to your payroll dept IMMEDIATELY. Then send it to CTC via fax number and email. They will try trust me. But if your payroll dept knows they are crooks, it will be revoked.

Remember it is VOLUNTARY

P.S.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, close your bank account IMMEDIATLY!! Once they get word you have revoked them they WILL debit your account unathorized for full amount.

Paul is right. Once you get to the bank put an freeze on your account immediately so nothing goes through. Then try and get a live check before your next payday or even a new account for direct deposit. You should be fine. just do not keep your money in the account they have on file

I would email CTC and try and work out payment arrangements most affordable to you. Do not deal with them over the phone. They have a rep for being total jerks
