i have a outstanding payday loan with pls payday loan company i live in dallas tx received a letter from DA office telling me i have ten days to pay or the da office will arrest me. can they do that

I am with the preceding poster, as I feel that more information is needed before we can give adequate advice. It's crucial to know whether this is an on-line or storefront loan. If it's a storefront loan, chances are that the company is licensed to do business in your state, so the chances of being taken to CIVIL (not Criminal) court are much greater. If it's an internet or on-line loan, the chances of the lender not being licensed are much greater and the chances of being taken to court are much less.
Even so, I would also confirm that the DA did send this letter by giving them a call tomorrow. If they did, they will also tell you what your options are.
Good luck, and keep us posted!
