When you file a complaint with the BBB, what do you say to them? I have paid ameriloan, payday yes and united cashloans all that I owe them and then some plus someoutlandish overdraft and other fees. Can someone please tell me what to do. I have finally gotten my bank account back on track and I don't want them messing it up again. Help me please. What should I tell the Alabama AG, the BBB or anyone else? I have sent them all C&D letters, verification letters and any other letter you guys have posted on here and they all still say I owe them double what I borrowed. PLEASE HELP!!!! Thank you very, very, very much.

If you still have the same checking account, and they are still debiting, chances are they will continue to do so regardless of whether you sent then revocation letters. It's best at this point to close your account so they no longer have access to it.

Keep at it, keep reminding them that they are illegal in your state(if they are)ventually they will cave and either leave you alone, mark your loans PIF or give you a refund depending on situation. I would tell the Al Ag & BBB that they keep debiting your account even though you revoked their auth.

elove I honestly feel your pain but the advice of this board is always secure your bank account first before you send letters out. Once you give them a heads up they will debit and debit and debit until they suck you dry. You need to go in person to your bank and speak with a manager and make your account deposits only or better yet close it. Bank accounts can take up to 6 weeks to officially close so the sooner you take care of this the better. Once you do this file your claims with the BBB, FTC and AG. Tell them that Company A is an illegal internet payday loan company not licensed to lend to residents of your state and that you have revoked all ACH authorizations by letter. Inform them that Company A did not honor your written request and debited you account after they received your revocation letter. Inform them that you are only obligated to pay an illegal unlicensed PDL company the amount borrowed and that all fees, interest, rollovers etc should be applied to the original principal.

Do not talk to any of these illegal companies if they call you ,but if for some reason they get you on the line, ask them for their license# to lend in your state and that you must inform them you are recording the call. If a CA calls you do the same ask for their license# as they are also required to hold a license to collect in your state. Good luck and keep us posted.

Well, I closed the account yesterday and Bank of America (BOA)told me that although I closed the account, that the companies can still try to debit the account. Once the company tries to debit the account or force a check through, I will be charged an nsf fee by the bank, so it's like the companies are still getting money out of me. I want to open another account with Bank of America, but I don't want (BOA) taking the fees from my new account. I'll tell you what, once this is over I am never going to do online pay day loans ever again!

BofA is hard to work with I know this first hand. Go back to them today, a different branch if you have to, and tell them you want a hard freeze that will allow deposits only on your account while it goes through the closing process. They can do this because they did it for me. Take a copy of this with you and make sure the manager gets it. Tell them you are exercising your consumer rights.

Your Rights on Electronic Payment of Payday Loans

Consumers have the right under either federal law or industry rules to stop a payday lender from electronically taking money out of a bank account.

Dont let BofA tell you NO
