My personal advice

I thonk we all took out our first PDL thinking we would or could pay it back in full on time. unfortunately it does not happen that way. That is how we all got caught up in this mess. My advice would be never to take out a pdl under any circumstances. Never ever

I know that was my situation. I did all the calculations, etc. and was convinced that I could pay it all back. But, life happens and things did not work out that way. :-( Live and learn I guess. I'm with you...NEVER EVER EVER take one out if there is ANY other possible alternative. Even a late charge is going to be cheaper that a pdl in the long run.

I think I will pawn old jewelry from my ex beofre I do this again..that would not only give me money but be theraputic as well. :lol:

Honestly, pawning old gold is turning a pretty penny these days, from what I understand.

No.. and I do have alot I do not wear and that no longer has sentimental value :wink: . I may just look into doing that.

I did it! It was totally theraputic! I also had a burn party. Burned everything from the ex...right down to the dress! My parents and sister drove up to Albuquerque, NM just to be there....unannounced of course....they were standing at my front door with fireman hats on. It was priceless! A good time was had by all!!
