Got a call threatening to garnish wages and have me arrested from the number 888-598-5330. I'm in Massachusetts and wondered if this is real? I have no idea about any payday loans from these people.

It's a scam. Ignore the calls.

Better yet, if they call again, harass THEM. Like one OP posted yesterday, since these scam artists were eating into his, he began to return the calls everyday and would drag on the conversation till the point that they felt like hanging up.
