I can't seem to find where to find out if any onf my Internet PDL'S are legal in Indiana. I am in deep with a lot of them and was wondering if anyone new anything about them. I have found, through searching the threads, that two of them are Illegal! Here is a list of the lenders. I can get amounts sometime later tonight.

United Cash Loans - Illegal in Indiana
My Cash Now - Illegal in Indiana
Great Sky Cash - ???
Deluxe Cash Club - ???
Zip 19 - ???
Brighton Financial - ???
Money Press Financial (aka MJK Marketing) - ???

Thanks to who ever can help.

None of these PDL lenders are legal in the state of Indiana. You are just morally responsible to pay the actual amount borrowed on the loan. You must close your bank account ASAP if you want to protect your account from these illegal lenders. Click on the following link to know how to deal with these illegal lenders: http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/paydayloan/illegal-pdl-dealings.html.

Thanks a lot for all the info...just so that I have the order of things to come correct... I need to

1 - Close my bank account making sure that they cannot re open it when the ACH debit comes.
2 - Send out e mails using the form letter provided to all my IPDL'S
3 - Send a complaint to my AG and the BBB.
4 - Ignore all calls and such.

After that I should be scott free as I understand, and can expect a refund for any money paid over, and am only morally responsible to pay back any remainding prinicible balance on any accounts.

Just two other questions.

First. I gave them my employer information. Will they attempt to garnish my wages or anything like that? And are there any measures I can take to make sure this does'nt happen?

Second. Will these people ever give up and just leave me alone? After reading some of the other threads I can expect never to recieve a refund for any money that I paid over the princible balance. But Will I continue to recieve threatening calls and e mails, or do I just need to change my phone number and e mail address after all this?

Thanks again for all the help, this forum is amazing and the poeple working on it are the most helpful I have ever come in contact with.

Regarding your first question, wage garnishment requires a court order. Illegal PDL lenders will never go to court since they will have to show their legality. Yes, they can go for wage assignments which is totally voluntary. You can provoke wage assignments in your letter to the lenders and give a copy of it to your payroll department.

As for the second question, I, myself have received a PIF and a refund from Zip19. The main thing is, you have to be persistent on your follow ups. Send them regular mails/emails/fax asking for the refund. File cases and follow up with the authorities.

So I have one more question. I have ben re-loaning with Zip 19 every other week for about 3 - 4 months now, just to keep a float. each loan has been for 400, I have paid back 520 due to a 120 dollar finance charge. If I have done that 8 times then does that mean they owe me all 8 of those finance fees, or just the most recent one? It says in my state law that Indiana does not allow re loans as well.

Thanks again
Mike
