Desist and Refrain Order Mean

What State are you in? and how much did you barrow and pay back? If the Desist and refrain order is still good then that probly means they are not supposed to be lending to consumers in your state. But that does not mean you should not pay back the principal amount barrowed. But you can do that on your terms, just remember they will harass you cause in the first part they may not be legal so they wont follow the laws anyways.

what I did was I called the Dept of Corp. I called them to talk about the ones I have which are Oneclickcash, unitedcashloans and Norstarcash. Oh you know what you are in the same issue as me your companies are all part of the same order mine are. So here is was I was about to get. The order is not in force right now cause a judge ordered it back to court cause these lenders are claiming since they are doing business as a tribal land they do not have to follow California laws and can do what they want. So they are due back in court may 2010. Now West Verginia had the same issue and they won in court cause they proved that these companies are only using the tribal status as a front. When I spoke with the legal counsol in San Diego she was pretty confident they will win in court. so please file your complaints with the BBB., AG and Depart of Corp and also a new one www.ic3.gov , please let me know if you need anything else. I am not letting them bully me i am going to fight as hard as I can.

West Virginia didn't actually win in court. The state was just willing to settle very cheap and the tribes settled before the case ever got in front of a judge. Good result for West Virginians, but no precedents were established that could help people elsewhere.

BTW - Colorado has a case against them too and the state Supreme Court is supposed to be hearing it very soon.

I hope something happens soon. I think everyone here needs to write the media and congress and anyone else we can come up with. They are criminals. Who bully and extort money from honest working people. No one here wants a free ride just to be treated fair.
