I have 10 payday loans that are from all on-line lenders. I live in louisiana and they are due on 7/8/11. I do not have the funds to pay them and do not want to incur NSF fees, etc. What's the best way to handle this? Should I call the companies and see if they will work out a repayment plan with me? I'm also confused by louisiana payday loan laws and how they apply or don't to internet loans. The loans I owe are to the following:

Loan Point USA
Fast Cash
One Click Cash
Idealgelt
Go Cash
VIP
Integrity
Cash Net USA
Kenwood Services
United Cash Loans

Payday lending is legal in Louisiana. You can contact with the Louisiana Office of Financial Institutions to know whether or not on-line payday loan companies from where you have taken the loan are licensed in your state. If they are licensed, then you will have to pay the principal amount including interests and other fees. Otherwise, you will be responsible only for principal amount. If you are not able to repay your debt in full, then you can contact with your lenders and negotiate with them. You may arrange a better repayment plan with them to repay your debt. If it is not possible for you to negotiate on your own, then you may get help from a reliable debt relief company. This company then negotiates with your lenders on your behalf.
